The employees have been there a while. It We are offering the business at $500k. The business does around $700k a year in revenue and cash flows pretty good. It's a good business. It is a specialty shop. They only work on certain types of vehicles. The business and property are being offered as a package. The seller is asking $750k for the property making the package $1.25mil. My comps tell me that the property asking price is fair. I sell auto repair shops in Texas. I sell auto repair only. I do not sell any other kinds of businesses. Ft.: 6,000 Facilities: The building is in good condition. It's pretty close to 6,000 sf but not exact. Plenty of bays and laid out pretty well. Easy to get into and out of. Traffic is pretty good at the location. But frankly...you don't need it. Market Outlook/ Competition: There are two important points to make here: The first is that the current owner is a good businessman. He's run the business profitably for many years. But he is comfortable at the current level of profitability and has not made any effort to increase business. It is ready for a new owner to take the reins and push it to the next level. Growth & Expansion: Virtually any auto repair shop can be improved upon by implementing a well thought out marketing effort. Shops that are for sale are usually being sold by retiring owners. And retiring owners...usually guys in their 60s...have a strong tendency to rely on reputation and word of mouth. They almost never use direct marketing or social media. This business fits into that category. The core business and reputation is strong but needs new blood to push it to the next level.
